Little Village opened in 2000 and has served well over 500 children of Granville and the surrounding community. We moved into our modern, state of the art building in the summer of 2009. With two distinct learning environments, our preschoolers and our elementary children enjoy the most up-to-date education programs designed to meet individual needs. In addition to homerooms, each age group can explore exciting gathering spaces throughout the building.
Little Village Academy is committed to providing each child with a loving, nurturing, safe, and educational environment in which to grow. Our holistic approach helps children to develop physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. As we identify and respond to changing needs, each child is recognized and valued as an individual.
Children are born ready to learn. From infants through pre-kindergarten, our classes are designed to meet the children’s developmental needs as they become early learners, well prepared for their first days of school. Our Infant & Toddler classes follow the guidelines set forth by the State of Ohio. Preschool & Pre-kindergarten classes follow the Early Learning Content Standards from the Ohio Department of Education.
Kid Village is housed in half of our building and is dedicated to meet the specific learning needs of school aged children. Kid Village offers a secure, stimulating environment where your child can mature socially and academically. Our all day Kindergarten class follows the Academic Content Standards from the Ohio Department of Education. Granville Schools provide bus transportation for students attending before & after school programs.
Is your child ready for a break from school, but you don’t want their brains to go on vacation? Summer Escapes were developed to help students retain what they have learned during the school year, but in a fun, hands on, out of the classroom way. Your child won’t even realize they’re continuing to learn.
